Doruntina and Blerta ar two female entrepreneuers and they want to engage in business and at the same time help kids in learning. This is why they are part of the Startup Weekend Prishtina – where they are developing a tool called Math4 Kids that will help children learn math in a funnier ans easier way. 

Doruntina Sadiku and Blerta Thaçi are two potential female entreprenuers with an idea to help kids to learn in an amusing and funny way. For two days these two young girls are planning their business product – a CD on learning math for school children of the first grade.

Doruntina Sadiku together with her fellow collegue Blerta Thaçi are the only female entreprenuers among the 9 working groups at the Second edition of Startup Weekend Prishtina (SW Prishtina).

“Our product is called Math 4 Kids and the initial material will be in Albanian language but we also think to do it in other languages”, says Doruntina,  who is a student at the second year of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FIEK). The main intetion of this business product according to Doruntina is to be close to children so math for them would be easy to learn.

These two young female entrepreneurs came to SW Prishtina thanks to their presence in the social media and in info meeting with students organized by Çelik Nimani – event and training manager at Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK).

Blerta Thaçi had a great time during Startup Weekend Prishtina organized 

Blerta Thaçi is a 21 years old student of the second year at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FIEK). Blerta says she is enjoying being part of the SW Prishtina since she considers the presence of mentors as a huge advantage.

“Startup Weekend is a unique experience since it helps in creating contacts and have new friendships and also to be informed what is on the market”, says Blerta adding that she finds useful especially the help offered by mentors.

Startup Weekend Prishtina (SW Prishtina) is an event where all interested can present their ideas and transform them into busineesess.

SW Prishtina is an innovative event that promotes startups of local businesses, entreprenuership, experts of the IT section. SW Prishtina brings together designers, software engineers, product managers, so they can together exchange ideas, create groups and start new businesses. Three best ideas will be given prizes offered by Innovation Centre Kosovo, Microsoft, IPKO Foundation, Telegrafi.com, etc.
